Join HSPS youth and Master Composter Sheryll Durrant and learn how to incorporate your food scraps into our 9 compost bins. Take a tour of the farm and learn about how composting works to convert your leftover food scraps to nutrient-dense food for our soil and plants!
Open Bin NYC is a citywide celebration of waste prevention and community greening. Community Compost sites citywide are offering tours, festive activities, and a chance to network with your neighbors. Come take a look, lend a hand, and learn more about the benefits of composting!
Youth Farm neighbors are invited to begin dropping off their food scraps every Wednesday, between 2:30 and 6:30pm, starting June 24th. Food scrap drop off will be during our Farmers' Market!
