Sales from our vegetables and flowers support our farm-based education programs.
We harvest our produce
and flowers the day of sale, guaranteeing the freshest and most nutritious
vegetables possible. All our food is produced organically, so it’s better for you
and better for the earth.
Farmers Market
Our Farmers Market is open every Wednesday from 2:30-6:30pm, June 24th - October 28th, right on the farm at 600 Kingston Avenue. Both HSPS Summer Youth leaders and adult apprentices help run our market as part of their farm training.
We pride ourselves on selling community favorites like collards, callalloo, tomatoes, cucumbers, fresh flowers and more! We accept EBT, WIC, Health Bucks and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program Coupons.
Vegetable CSA Share
When you become a member of the CSA, you’re purchasing a “share” of vegetables from the school farm. By committing to be a member in spring, you provide our farm with funds that are crucial for running educational programs and purchasing supplies.
Weekly from mid-June until mid-November, you will pick up a box full of healthy and fresh produce. We have two pick-up options; you choose the best one for you. Hurry and send in your form, as space is limited!
Flowers are food for the soul! We grow a variety of beautiful flowers on the farm. Bouquets are available at our farmers market as well as through our CSA.
Restaurant Sales
We supply fresh produce and flowers to a few restaurants around Brooklyn. Restaurants provide us with an additional outlet for our fresh produce and extra funds to run our educational programs. If you are interested in receiving weekly deliveries of fresh Brooklyn-grown flowers or vegetables, please contact us! Please patronize our restaurants and tell them you appreciate their support of the Youth Farm. You can find our produce & flowers at Wilma Jean, Nightengale 9, Buttermilk Channel, 61 Local, GRDN, and By Brooklyn.
