Join us on Tuesday, JULY 7TH for a Fundraiser for The Youth Farm!

The Youth Farm is pleased to invite you to an exciting fundraising event, "Summer Supper with Rob Newton: A Dinner to Benefit The Youth Farm."

Chef Robert Newton, a longtime supporter of the farm, is the chef/owner of Nightingale 9, a restaurant specializing in Vietnamese classics, street food and seasonal specials, and Wilma Jean, a casual Southern spot named for his grandmother. Both are located in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn.
Newton and his restaurants have been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, The Wall Street Journal, New York Magazine and Garden & Gun and on The Barefoot Contessa and Martha Stewart Radio. He has earned a reputation for supporting Brooklyn greenmarkets and tri-state area farms and for championing American wines, especially those from New York and Virginia.

For this event, Chef Rob has curated a delicious seasonal four-course meal featuring produce and flowers harvested from The Youth Farm and The Brooklyn Grange. A VIP Cocktail Hour will feature a signature seasonal cocktail, wine and beer, and a private tour of the Brooklyn Grange's Navy Yard farm by Grange President/Head Farmer Benjamin Flanner.

In addition to incredible skyline views, nourishing locally grown food, and remarks from both Chef Newton and Youth Farm Manager Molly Culver, there will be a raffle featuring one of a kind prizes.

Event proceeds will help The Youth Farm provide hands-on farming experiences and green job training opportunities for underserved youth in Brooklyn.
