Shout Out to Fresh Veggies!

The marketing of junk food has become big business--teens see 10,000 junk food advertisements every year on television...not to mention billboards, magazines, and the internet! Fruits and vegetables get a fraction of the airtime funding when compared to corporations like McDonalds that spend 1.4 billion dollars annually to promote junk food.

The Go Green! class at the High School for Public Service has designed a to Shout Out to Fresh Veggies campaign to right this wrong and help get the word out about fresh fruits and veggies!

We don't have billions of dollars like McDonald's, but we do have lots of friends on Twitter and Facebook. Help the Go Green! teens spread the fresh food word by forwarding this message on to all your friends--we want the message to travel worldwide!
