Now Accepting Applications...

2012 ADULT FARM TRAINING!
The Youth Farm is now accepting applications for our 2012 Adult Farm Training Program. Our Farm Training program is designed as a holistic educational experience for people interested in learning about urban agriculture, food justice, youth empowerment and more. As a participant you will learn alongside farm managers in the field, at our market, with our youth and meet experts in the field from across the city. Our program is great for folks who would like to gain a deeper understanding of what it takes to grow fresh food and flowers, and explore the many career opportunities within sustainable agriculture. The program is also suited to residents with access to land in a community garden, backyard, or rooftop who would like to build expertise in horticulture. If you are someone with a variety of interests, from having fun while giving back to our community, to learning about food justice and wanting to include gardening in your current life, this training program is for you.
